Apr 21, 2007 · arkenzo. The fuel shut off switch is activated when heavily rear-ended, preventing a potential fire hazard and or fuel leak. The switch is usually located in the rear of the car, possibly the hatch, i would suggest removing the carpeted floor off the hatch and check if it's in there. If not, read the manual I think it should be listed there.
Aug 5, 2012 · By hitting the pothole, there was probably enough "force" making the switch mistakenly shut off the fuel pump. The switch should be located in the trunk either on the left or right side. Locate the switch and press the reset button. If it clicks when pressed, then the switch was activated.
